I know it sounds crazy but it is possible.
Let me tell you a little about myself… I was born in Chile. My family from my mother side from Swedish descent, and from my father side from Hungarian descent. Currently I live in Miami, FL USA.
Since I was a kid, I’ve always been amazed about the two wheel sports. In Chile I spent most of my years doing mountain biking and Descent (speeding down a hill at very fast speeds). Later I’ve been introduced to motorcycles and so on. Last year I finally bought my own motorcycle a Honda CBR 600RR. I spent my days off ( I work in The Home Depot, and study Computer Science), riding the bike with some local friends and friends from other cities. One day at night I was riding towards home, when someone driving a car, decided to run a stop sign, unfortunately this was right in front of me, and I hit him, without having a chance to stop. The outcome was that I lost the motorcycle, but what hurt the most was the lost of my right arm; I also suffered multiple fractures in both legs, including femurs, tibia bones, etc. I had to learn how to walk again, and get used to have only one arm.
With the help of Moe, one of my friends we have created a website dedicated to motorcycles in general, where users share tips, and information to be safe and enjoy the sport (http://www.mrthrottle.com ). In the present day I still work in the same place and I study the same subject. I still have the same love to motorcycles, and would love to be back in one of them soon.
I have re-searched the internet and found a few companies’ that fix the bikes, and people that had the same condition I do, and actually rode or ride a bike without an arm.
I’m just waiting for the time I can go back to motorcycles, and ride free all over the world (part of my wish). I would love to have somebody to help me accomplish this dream about riding around the world with a sport bike, because to be able to something like that, i need some major financial help.
That’s why i did this website, to see if some big fish out there would like to help me accomplish this, with their financial help, and make a TV documental/story about me going around the world in a sport bike, with only one arm riding the bike. Mainly to show people with the same or similar physical difficulties, to not be afraid and fight for the dreams one has. I’ve had the chance to travel to a few countries and I love to travel, I also keep myself in a good condition and shape, doing regular excercises, etc.
